Pets enter our families and our hearts and when we lose them, we grieve. A warm cat on a lap when we were feeling blue. A waggy tail when we came home every day. Dog, cat, bird, or anything in between, we loved them all.
The staff at Bartram Trail Veterinary Hospital invite you to share memories of your beloved pet with us. Most we will have known and miss as well. Send us a story and a picture, and tell us about your special pet and the way they filled your lives with joy .
When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we are far apart
For every time you think of me, I'm right here inside your heart.

Skinny was brought to the clinic as a rescue. She was easily the skinniest dog I had ever seen in my career. You could see every bone in her body. She was infested with fleas, hookworms, whipworms, roundworms, heartworms and ear mites. After she was treated for all of her hitchhikers, she put on weight and lived at the clinic for a few months while going through her heartworm treatment. I was eventually suckered in by her big brown eyes and sweet personality and brought her home as the newest Davis dog. She settled in well and never looked back! A new family, a bed of her own, a new dog friend, and a cat (would not say they were friends). She was a sweet-tempered dog...not very bright...but we loved her. She may have had a rough start to her life, but she certainly landed on her paws when she came into our house and our hearts!
