Dr. Krista Davis - Veterinarian
Dr. Krista Davis graduated from Veterinary School in 1995 from Scotland.  Her undergraduate course work was completed at the University of Miami in south Florida.  After Graduation, she worked for 2 years in the south of Portugal while completeing her exams to qualify in the U.S. Upon passing the exams, she worked for seven years at Black Creek Veterinary Hospital in Middleburg, Florida.  Her goal had always been to open a practice of her own, and in December of 2006, Bartram Trail Veterinary Hospital opened its doors.  When Dr. Davis is not being a doctor, she spends time with her husband Antonio, and daughter Anna.  She enjoys reading and working in the garden.  Dr. Davis has 1 dog "Rufus", 1 cat "Amy", 5 fish and 2 hermit crabs. 



 




Dr. Martina Sander - Veterinarian

Dr. Martina Sander graduated from the University of Florida in 1994. After graduation, she spent one year at Emory studying laboratory animal medicine.  When she moved back to Florida, she began working with small animals in private practices. Dr. Sander works Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays with us.  She is certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, and currently lives in Ponte Vedra with 3 dogs and 1 cat. She loves being a vet!
 


 
 

  
 


Tammy
Tammy began working in the veterinary field after she moved here from New York in 1993. She joined Bartram Trail Veterinary Hospital team in January 2008.  While not working, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, boating and fishing.  Tammy has a dog "August", and a cat "Friday", both are rescue pets.





 
 
 


 
 
Shaunna
Shaunna is a local to this area of St. Augustine and has lived here her whole life.  Shaunna is currently enrolled at St. Johns River Community College, where she is working on her A.A. in Biological Science.  After earning her A.A. in Biological Science, she plans on continuing her education and earning a Masters degree in Zoology. Shaunna has two dogs, a lab mix named Onyx and a yellow lab named Jayde. She has been working at Bartram Trail since 2008.




 




Sylvia 
Sylvia is a native of Germany but has lived in the US for half her life.  She has worked in the veterinary field on and off for about 4 years and joined Bartram Trail Veterinary Hospital in July of 2008.  She shares her home with a lab mix "Moe", a Wheaton Terrier "Sherlock", a hound mix "Ebb" and 3 cats, and countless fish!  Sylvia enjoys riding her horse "Montgomery" and is looking forward to attending school to pursue a degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.






 
Dorsha
Dorsha is the newest addition to our front desk team. She is originally from a tiny island in the Pacific called Saipan. This is her first position in a veterinary hospital; however, she is ready for the challenge and all the friendly faces, on both humans and animals. While relaxing, Dorsha is known to dabble in a little sewing and alot of reading. More importantly, she can be seen around town wearing a big smile. Dorsha has an especially big smile when she is spending time with her two children, husband, two dogs, and cat. She is currently pursuing a B.A. in English. Dorsha's long term goal is to travel with her husband to happy and beautiful places all around the world!





 


Holly
Holly was born and raised in the Jacksonville area. Soon after graduating from high school she started her first job at a veterinary hospital helping in the kennels. She worked her way up to assisting in the hospital side and is where she works for us now. She lives near the beach and loves wakeboarding and skateboarding. She helps take care of her parent's "attack" rabbits but her only pet is her Betta-fish, "Darby".
