This line of Purina foods is designed for use by veterinarians to help nutritionally support their patients with specific problems. These range from the NF diets for kidney disease to DH diets for improving daily dental care to DRM for allergic skin problems. ProPlan is Purina's premium pet food line. It is designed to provide your pet with balanced nutrition from the puppy/kitten stage throughout your pet's adult life and into their senior years. We are happy to place any orders for a specific line of ProPlan you may need and have it available for convenient pickup at the clinic. Hill's has a wide variety of veterinary specific foods catering to certain medical needs of dogs and cats. Offering a variety of options for veterinary diets, we aim to find a diet that will suit your pet's medical needs as well as be accepted by your pet! Royal Canin, formerly Innovative Veterinary Diets, is another line of veterinary specific food designed to meet the need of certain medical conditions. Not every pet likes the same thing, so we want to have another dietary option for our patients. Heartguard Plus Heartworm Prevention Heartguard Plus is a once a month heartworm preventative that also treats and prevents intestinal parasite infections with hookkworms and roundworms. It comes in a very palatable chewey that most dogs thinks is a treat! Interceptor is a once a month heartworm preventative that also controls intestinal parasite infections of roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. It is in a palatable flavor tablet to ease administration. Frontline Plus Flea Prevention Frontline Plus is a once a month topical flea treatment that effectively kills adult fleas and ticks as well as inhibiting egg and larval development in the environment. It is minimally water soluble and therefore is resistant to being washed away by swimming and bathing. Frontline Plus is available in feline and canine dosings. Comfortis is a once a month flea preventative that is given as a flavor tablet. It is effective against the adult fleas only, but cannot have its effectiveness diminished by abnormal skin conditions or frequent bathings. Comfortis may only be used in dogs. Revolution Feline is a monthly combination, topically-applied product. It prevents heartworm disease, kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching. It treats and controls ear mites and some intestinal parasites (roundworms and hookworms). It is one of the easiest ways to protect your cat from heartworm disease! Capstar is an adult flea control pill that can be used in dogs and cats. It starts killing fleas in 30 minutes and can be given every 24 hours for control of adult fleas only. Trifexis is a 3-in-one monthly chew-tab that combines heartworm, flea, hookworm and roundworm prevention in one convenient pill. The flea preventative in it is the same as found in Comfortis.
